1. Who we are
Presence (presence-agency.com) operates the Presence clipper platform and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: contact@presence-agency.com.
2. Data we collect
When you sign in with Discord or Google we receive your name, email address and avatar. When you connect a social account (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) through its official authorization flow we receive your public profile information (username, display name, avatar, follower or subscriber count) and, where you grant it, statistics about your public posts, so we can verify account ownership and measure campaign views. We also store the campaign activity you create in the app (submitted clips, payout requests, payment details you provide) and basic technical logs.
3. How we use it
We use this data to operate the Service: authenticate you, verify connected accounts, attribute clips, validate views, process payouts, prevent fraud, and communicate about campaigns. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. OAuth tokens
Access tokens for connected social accounts are stored encrypted on our servers, are never exposed to your browser or to other users, and are used only to call the platform APIs for the purposes above. Disconnecting an account, or revoking access from the platform’s own settings, invalidates its tokens and we delete them.
5. Sharing
Data is shared only with the service providers that host and run the platform (hosting, database, email) under data-processing agreements, with campaign clients (aggregate performance of their own campaigns), and where the law requires it.
6. Retention & data deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. Payout and invoicing records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Data linked to a disconnected social account or deleted account is removed or anonymised without undue delay. To delete the data tied to a connected social account, disconnect it from the Accounts page (or revoke the app’s access in the platform’s own settings, e.g. Instagram → Settings → Website permissions): we then delete its tokens and profile data. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email contact@presence-agency.com and we will confirm deletion within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Write to contact@presence-agency.com and we will respond within the legal deadline. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).
8. Security & transfers
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and secrets are stored server-side only. Where processing happens outside the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
